Hi there and welcome along to MotorHolme TV where we are all about helping you get most out of your motorhome rental. Now it is New Year 2012 and of course this a time for New Years resolutions and I have got one for you. How about getting out and about a bit more in 2012? Now whatever the time of year whether you are looking for a weekend break or an annual holiday motorhoming provides the freedom and flexibility for you to just take off and have your very own adventure and here are some suggestions.
Maybe you are a history buff and you would like to do a tour of castles in the UK. Now I think I am right in saying that North Wales has more castles per square mile than anywhere else in Europe, so much choice and just one example, stunning Caernarfon Castle here in the background. The photographers and artists amongst you might like to use a motorhome to tour some of the UKs most stunning and inspiration landscapes like this waterway near Beddgelert in Snowdonia. Maybe you would like to plan a trip that follows in the footsteps of one of your favourite TV series, books or films. For instance in North Wales you can visit Portmeirion for the day, the setting of the TV series The Prisoner, which was filmed at Portmeirion in the 70s.
If you are a fan of golf how about getting a group of friends together, hiring a motorhome, and then touring some of the UK championship golf courses like this one at Royal St Davids in Harlech. You can play a round of golf in some fantastic surroundings right in the shadow of a castle even.
If you are into climbing maybe you would like to plan a trip to climb some peaks around the UK. There is one of them Mount Snowdon in the background and of course motorhomes make a great support vehicle.
Or maybe you are simply seeking some peace and quiet and some solitude with some beautiful views.
Britain wonderful beaches are not just for summer. At any time of the year they can be invigorating and refreshing and there are many campsites around the UK where you can actually park your motorhome on the beach so you can fall asleep at night listening to the sound of the waves. It is really magical.
A motorhome can get you to stunning locations where there are no hotels and no holiday cottages. In other words, you can really broaden your horizons. Whichever type of motorhome holiday you choose, one really important thing is that you can take your pet as well and that means no expensive kennel fees and no stress for your pet to be separated from you during the holiday. Your pets can join in the fun as well.
Well I hope that has given you some inspiration to change your view in 2012 and of course the great thing about motorhoming is you can actually change your view every morning if you so choose. At the end of the day you can come back to a warm and welcoming motorhome and hot drink, a hot meal, and relax in comfort.
